I’m Jan McIntyre.
My husband and I have been married and in full-time ministry for just over 40 years. We have two amazing daughters and three beautiful granddaughters.
Several years ago, God began birthing in me a dream for this ministry. Early in 2019, the doors began to open and God gave me the name Silently Bleeding, which represents the struggles pastors’ wives and women in ministry often face alone. Although honest acknowledgement of our struggles is healthy and necessary for healing, I knew that hope is the key to surviving and moving forward – both in our personal lives and in our ministry endeavors. Thus, Silently Bleeding: Hope for the Pastor’s Wife was born.
Silently Bleeding is not just for pastors’ wives – we include the wives of missionaries and evangelists, as well as single women in occupational ministry – from all Christian denominations, cultures, and ages. From our YouTube channel, to our private Facebook support groups, to our upcoming restorative retreats, there is something for all ministry wives.*
Join me, and so many others, in finding purpose through the pain. I can’t wait to see what God will do in and through this community.
